The Naperville Police Foundation (NPF) is a non-profit organization 501(c)(3) created to advance public awareness of police programs, enhance community engagement, and nurture the health of the NPD.

What We Do

The NPF board meets on a quarterly basis to strategize community engagement and allocation of funds donated to the foundation. We do NOT contribute to department compensation, overtime, or items that are covered under the city budget.

Mission Statement

The Naperville Police Foundation is dedicated to advancing efforts to generate community support for and in cooperation with the Naperville Police Department. The Foundation raises awareness and financial support for any ancillary needs, including but not limited to collaborative community initiatives, and wellness programs for officers and their families.

The Foundation is a non-partisian 501c3 organization working in partnership with the Naperville Police Dept.

The public is invited to join the Naperville Police Foundation at N.P.D. social featuring FREE Andy’s Custard. Meet and mingle with Chief Arres and the Naperville Police Department at this FREE event. 5:30-7:30-PM on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at the 95th Street Park (next to Library).


National Police Week | Week of May 15
National Police Week 2023 is May 15-21. NPD will be having its Peace Officer Memorial Observance at the public safety wall on Monday, May 15 at 10:00 AM. This is short ceremony to honor law enforcement officers who have been killed or disabled in the line of duty.
